I’ve released my first draft of Segment #2 of the Front Range bikepacking guide to the CO 14ers:
Segment #2 takes you from Horsethief Park TH near Pikes, to Guanella Pass to take on both Mt. Bierstadt and Mt. Evans. Along the way, the riding is fairly mellow and straightforward, except for the 8,000′ of elevation gain, including a Continental Divide Crossing at Kenosha Pass.
Camping around Guanella Pass has certain restrictions, so pay close attention to the beta in this segment to make sure you’re camping in areas where it’s allowed.
