Well deserved rest after Sunday’s 100 miler

Tuesday

Bouldering @ Movement, 2 hours

Wednesday

Talk at Bent Gate

Thanks once again for Bent Gate for allowing me to come over and share some stories and knowledge. As usual, I probably learned more from all of you, then you learned from me!

A photo from, perhaps, my first summit of Loveland Pass many years ago:

Loveland Pass

And another time, (same bike!) set up as a fixed gear a few years ago:

Thursday

Bouldering @ Movement, 2 hours

Felt sensationally terrible – as if two years of training just hadn’t been done.

Spin bike, 1 hour

Friday

Spin bike, 2 hours

Saturday

Bouldering @ Movement, 2 hours

Felt a bit more like my regular self. Nothing really else to report.

Chapman Ride

Green Mountain

Good run up, with a little more effort on the uphill, and an easier downhill. Some cramps on the uphill tempered my pace, though.

Sunday

4x Green Mountain Group Run

Busy day on Green Mountain, photo by Fred Ecks
One of the more secretive places on Green Mountain – nice crack boulder! photo by Rich H

My training this week was all over the place, but I was looking for a long day with massive elevation, so when Fred put together this idea for his Church of the Holy Trail run – four laps up Green Mountain by different routes (mostly off-trail), that seemed perfect.

I’m mostly a loner (Dottie: a rebel!),

but I try to get myself out to enjoy these outdoor activities with others – probably a healthy idea! Thanks for everyone’s comradery! I’ll be back!
