Howdy Everyone,It's the first Monday of the month! Here's what's been happening on the blog: Future Adventures: Traversing the Continental Divide Ridge Across the Sawatch I love drawing lines on maps and dreaming of sufferfests to do. I seem to squeeze out the most enjoyment from long ridge runs. I love being up high, teetering on top of a knife edge between two drainages, without the need of a trail to follow, yet having an obvious route in front of me. Howdy Everyone,Here's what's been happening on the blog: Scrambling Shoe Methodologies Scrambling! Joyously moving on easy rock routes. In Boulder, we have a King’s ransom of big rocks to fumble about on and there’s a lifetime of routes to tick. The Flatirons are one of Boulder’s most iconic natural wonders. It’s somewhat impossible to roll into to town and not take a moment to look out west and imagine wandering in/out/around the various crags. Continental Divide Projects

August 30th 2020 UTC

Howdy everyone - long time since I've sent out a message! Two projects I'm working on, both dealing with the Continental Divide close to home. One is a short that my buddy Nolan Anderson is putting together on something I've dubbed the Loveland Pass/Guanella Pass Over Mountain Route. Here's the trailer - be sure to subscribe to my channel  to know when the premiere happens. The other project was a fastpack between Milner Pass and Berthoud Pass - a nice 80 miles of the Boulder skyline. Good times! A little writeup ...Continue Reading

Help me write a guidebook

November 27th 2019 UTC

Howdy everyone, Finally time to start walking the walk to match the talk I've been talking: I'm beginning the long process of writing a guidebook! What about? Or making this all into a web-app-thing - whatever it is the kids are doing these days. And whatever its final form, I'll be r ...Continue Reading
